I provide slow, deeper-pressure massage to help you recover from chronic pain in a magical 1930's influenced office.
I pride myself on giving you the gift of time, to get to know you, set goals, and walk the path together. I have the unique experience of being both a sufferer of chronic pain and helping to treat pain. Over time I’ve discovered what works for me. Massage has been there for me at my worst, and I really believe in it.
I am an evidence based, medical massage therapist by training. I treat all chronic pain. But what I really love is digging deeply into why something is hurting. What makes it better or worse. Then mixing my hyper-focused detail work with techniques to make it some of the most relaxing therapy you'll ever have.
There are thousands of massage therapists. All of us can do therapeutic work for chronic pain and injury. But massage can be so much more. Most massage chains put you on a healthcare treadmill. It’s not deep and it’s not personal.
Personal, individual-to-you service is what I’m all about. I am not a fan of cookie cutter sessions. Nor do I believe in charging small fees for multiple add-ons. I charge one hourly rate. My rate includes all modalities, all tools, and all future knowledge incorporated from my constant, continuing education. I pay myself a living wage and do not need to upcharge for small things.
I also believe a relaxing and unique space is just as important as the physical skills used to treat chronic pain and injury. My office is full of things that I love. I have some amazing visuals projected on my ceiling, I love the 1930’s so I have antiques and old cameras on display.
And lastly, I believe treatment can exist alongside luxury. I have a table warmer, hot towels, and aromatherapy for your comfort and enjoyment, at no extra charge.
The brain and the body have an incredible interrelatedness of pain, relaxation, sleep, emotions, recovery, and finally, the healing process. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, this could be your modern transformation.
